Well last night was a night of leisure, wining and dining. Been on the low key tip of just hanging and being with friends without terribly pickling our livers. We started the night out to our favorite little Japanese izakaya in downtown called Honda-ya. Super yummy small plates and even better...super affordable..yumm-o!

Then we mosied on down to the local neighborhoody wine bar in echo park called city sip. Ate, drank, and ate some more. It was quite lovely. Anyway, happy thursday! Thursdays are the new Fridays, ya heard...

An izakaya (居酒屋) is a type of Japanese drinking establishment which also serves food to accompany the drinks. The food is usually more substantial than that offered in other types of drinking establishments in Japan such as bars or snack bars.

They are popular, casual and relatively cheap places for after-work drinking.

I saw that floral bomber jacket at opening ceremony/Barney's not so long ago...and talk about great execution. A little touch of masculinity to dress up the floral design.
